Former WWE NXT superstar, Dave Mastiff has claimed that Tyler Bate is ready for a main roster call-up.
Tyler Bate is an NXT Superstar who recently had a matchup with veteran Dolph Ziggler on Main Event.
The two of them produced a classic wrestling match with the crowd chanting ‘This is Awesome!’, showing how impressive the two were when in-ring together.
Bate was trained by Mastiff, who spoke after the match. He said: “For me Tyler is one of the most gifted superstars in NXT, and I honestly believe he is ready for the main roster.
“To put on a performance like that against one of the veterans in WWE shows how talented he is and is the reason he has such an accomplished career so far.”
Tyler Bate is a wrestler from Dudley, who performed on the show NXT UK, until it was axed, and he transferred to NXT.
During his time within the company, he became the only two-time NXT UK Champion also winning the national triple crown, the UK Title, and Tag Team Championship.
Mastiff continued: “It is clear for anyone to see; he is one of the future stars of this business.
“He became the youngest singles champion in WWE history aged 19 and he has certainly improved over the years.
“I’m excited for his future, and with the upcoming WWE Draft, there is the possibility that he gets drafted to Raw or SmackDown.”
The WWE Draft is the process where WWE superstars can change brand within the company, and some stars get called-up from NXT. The Draft will take place between April 28 and May 1.
